Business Mediation Attorney Resolving Business Disputes

We find points of agreement, explore solutions and negotiate agreements

Invictus Law, P.C. offers you business mediation services as an alternative to litigation. As mediators, our attorneys help you and the other party work out a mutually agreeable solution that’s affordable and effective. We help you find the legal resolutions you need and provide you with the attention you deserve.

How the mediation process works

Mediation typically takes one or two sessions. We identify the issues in the dispute, work to reduce misunderstandings, and reinforce goals and priorities. From there, we identify points of agreement, find compromises, and negotiate and document an agreement, which both parties sign. With mediation, you are an active participant in the process. Each party can gain great insight into the needs and concerns of the other, which can help to improve relationships.

Mediation can also be attractive because agreements reached are not part of the public record, whereas litigation judgments are.

We represent a variety of business clients, including e-commerce, online marketing, affiliate marketing, real estate, apparel, and manufacturing and distribution. From our Orange County, California office, we serve Santa Ana, Orange and Irvine. From our Ontario office, we serve San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

As mediators, we are neutral parties to the negotiations. We do not represent either side. The agreement reached through mediation is not binding, but generally, because both parties actively participate in the process, they’re more likely to adhere to the agreement.

Our commercial mediation attorneys negotiate solutions for a wide variety of disputes

If you face a dispute in business start-up, you can’t afford to lose time or money. Disputes can throw mergers and acquisitions off track. If a dispute arises while you are dissolving a business, take control of the situation by engaging in mediation. Small businesses, in particular, can benefit from mediation, since they don’t typically have legal or human resources departments to resolve conflicts.

We regularly serve as mediators to resolve disputes in the following areas:

  • Landlord-tenant issues
  • Business collections
  • Fair Credit Reporting Act violations
  • Breach of sale and other contracts
  • Small business disputes
  • Partnership disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Agreement disputes

Throughout each phase of your business operations, mediation can put an end to a conflict or dispute in just one or two sessions. And with an experienced business law attorney as your mediator, you can trust the results to be well founded and sound. Backed by our experience in drafting contracts and agreements, we take meticulous care in writing up your mediated solution clearly and articulately to avoid further disputes.

Litigation is always an option

If mediation doesn’t work to your satisfaction — if an agreement cannot be found — business litigation remains an option.
